About the role


We’re looking for a Marketing Email Developer to join our growing team!

Reporting to the Manager, Relationship Marketing, you will be in charge of producing, automating, deploying and monitoring acquisition, retention and transactional emails targeting clients and prospects.

To this end, you will utilize your extensive technical knowledge in email coding and deploying on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Campaign platforms. You will then be contributing to the delivery of various projects for different brands under the Intact Financial Corporation banner.

WORKPLACE: Montreal (2020, Robert-Bourassa), St. John's (10 Factory Lane) or Toronto (700, University)

What you’ll do here:

  • Manage the personalization, versioning and email rendering, execute pre-deployment testing, deploy campaigns and monitor email delivery through the platform.
  • Create automated workflows for email campaigns, as well as other related processes if needed.
  • Participate to the determination of targeted audiences and segments for the list creation by the database team.
  • Work with the marketing advisors, internal stakeholders and possibly the external creative agency to develop and integrate responsive emails (desktop/mobile).
  • Implement A/B testing, integrate dynamic content and leverage best practices in terms of email deliverability.
  • Participate to email campaigns’ performance tracking and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Liaise with IT resources for the email platform’s maintenance.

  • Qualifications & skills
  • College or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar role
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Adobe Campaign email platforms
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Strong work methodology and ability to manage time and priorities
  • Attention to details
  • Great ability to adapt to change and to tolerate stress
  • Autonomous and solution-oriented
  • Keeps up to date with technological trends, innovations and best practices in email marketing
  • Bilingual (English and French), both written and spoken
